We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable enough to let loose and have fun this weekend, and though masks are no longer required indoors, we will have extra KN95 masks available for anyone who would feel more comfortable wearing one.
While this is a momentous event, we know that it probably isn’t the only gathering you’ll be attending this holiday season, so let’s make sure we all leave happy and healthy!

There are many public parking garages within walking distance of the museum, but our favorite is on Cumberland Street between Meeting Street and Church Street (next to Circular Congregational Church).

The dress code is Black-Tie, so picture evening gowns and tuxedos. Essentially, we want everyone to feel like they’re either in a James Bond movie or walking the Met Gala carpet. 😎
It may get a bit chilly (by Charleston standards) once the sun goes down, so make sure you (or your date) bring a jacket to keep warm.

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place inside the museum, and the reception will take place outside in the museum gardens (with plenty of heat lamps on standby).

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6pm, so we suggest planning to arrive by 5:30pm to allow time to get a little lost, park, and find your seat comfortably with time to spare.
That being said, the galleries will be open and available for you to tour as early as 5:30pm at which time the string quartet will begin playing their prelude.
